The Lebanese Army is back in the spotlight. On Thursday, representatives from 17 countries are set to meet in Paris for a preparatory conference to support the military force, which has been tasked since last year with the historic mission of disarming Hezbollah. The conference, also aimed at supporting the Internal Security Forces, will bring together Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, and Jordan's King Abdullah II.
