SOUTH LEBANON — Tuesday morning in southern Lebanon was marked by the explosion of a device in Shoukin (Nabatieh), which injured one person, and a motorized incursion in Kfar Shuba (Hasbaya).
In Shoukin, a civilian was injured and hospitalized following the explosion of an Israeli device, according to our correspondent in the South. In the eastern sector, a bulldozer and three military vehicles advanced on the outskirts of Kfar Shuba, at the location known as Shanouh, and broke through an earth embankment towards Halta, before withdrawing towards the hamlet of Bastara. Kfar Shuba is a still-inhabited village in southern Lebanon, and is located on the direct outskirts of the Israeli-occupied zone.
An Israeli army drone dropped a stun grenade Tuesday morning near a house in the al-Arishe area, on the outskirts of Hariss in the Bint Jbeil district. At dawn, several artillery shells struck Mansouri and Wadi Zibqine in the Sour district, while machine-gun fire swept through the area around Braasheet (Bint Jbeil).
Overnight from Monday to Tuesday, Israel also carried out significant demolitions of several houses in Khiam (Marjayoun). Shortly after 10 p.m., Israel conducted strikes on the Mais al-Jabal valley and Wadi Slouqi, on the outskirts of Shakra.
