Israel continues to escalate its military operations in southern Lebanon, even after announcing that it took control of Ali Taher hill. The message is that Israel does not consider itself bound by any geographical limits in conducting its operations.Israel had already made clear that it wants the Lebanese Army to enter Hezbollah military facilities in Mount Rihan and Iqlim al-Tuffah. According to L’Orient-Le Jour, the Israelis have specifically identified several areas, including Wadi Berghoz, Kfar Houneh and the Jabbour area, as well as sites in Qatrani.
