The foreign ministers of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia and Jordan on Thursday issued a joint statement expressing their "strongest condemnation and denunciation of the ongoing Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip."
They specifically condemned attacks on health facilities, medical and civilian infrastructure, as well as continued deadly attacks on Gaza's population despite last week's announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump of an agreement on Hamas' disarmament.
On the ground, at least one person was killed and five others wounded in Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.
The ministry said at least 1,254 Palestinians have been killed and 4,121 wounded by Israeli fire since the cease-fire took effect on Oct. 10, 2025.
According to the Ministry, the overall death toll in Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, has reached at least 73,382, with 174,236 people wounded.
A report published in April by the World Bank, the European Union and the United Nations estimated that Gaza contains 68 million tons of debris from destroyed or damaged buildings and that more than 60% of the enclave's population of more than 2 million has lost its home since the war began.0% of Gaza's more than two million inhabitants have lost their homes since the conflict began.
