Iran military says attacked US bases in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain Amazon data center

Iran's military said Friday it carried out drone strikes on several U.S. military facilities and bases in Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait in retaliation for the latest U.S. attacks on the Islamic Republic.

"This morning, the fuel tanks, large equipment warehouses and silos, and the barracks of the U.S. terrorist army forces at Isa Air Base in Bahrain were targeted by Arash kamikaze drones," the military said in a statement carried by state television.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said Friday that it targeted a data center in Bahrain belonging to U.S. tech giant Amazon, according to state media.

The force "targeted and destroyed the intelligence data center of the American company Amazon, which plays a major role in providing information to the American child-killing army," the IRGC said in a statement broadcast on state television.

Neither Amazon nor Bahraini authorities have commented on the claim.

The IRGC had also claimed on Wednesday that it targeted the data center.

The Iranian military also claimed drone attacks in Jordan, targeting "aircraft hangars, aviation maintenance hangars and a barracks" at Al-Azraq Air Base.

Jordan has not reported any strikes in recent hours.

In a separate statement, the Iranian military said it launched drones at U.S. equipment warehouses at Camp Udairi and sites housing American military personnel at Camp Doha and Camp Arifjan in Kuwait.

Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the ideological arm of Iran's military, said it targeted Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, claiming to have destroyed an ammunition depot and inflicted casualties among U.S. personnel.

Tehran maintains that any facility or base in the Middle East used by the U.S. military for strikes on Iran is considered a legitimate target for retaliatory attacks.
