NORTH LEBANON — Sky Lounge Services, the company tasked with the rehabilitation and operation of the Renee Moawad Airport in Qleiaat, announced Thursday the opening of 21 positions as part of the first phase of its recruitment plan.

The openings cover passenger services, ground handling, airport operations and maintenance, as well as administrative, technical and non-aeronautical commercial roles, the company said in a statement.

Applications will be reviewed through a multi-stage process, including an assessment of candidates’ qualifications and experience, followed by interviews. Sky Lounge specified that priority would be given to qualified candidates from Akkar and North Lebanon, as part of its commitment to creating jobs in the region.

Additional positions will be announced as rehabilitation work progresses and as different phases of the airport become operational. Applications can be submitted via the company’s official recruitment platform.

The government officially launched the rehabilitation and redevelopment of Renee Moawad Airport on June 6. Under a transitional four-year operating contract, Sky Lounge Services is rehabilitating the runway and airport facilities and constructing a temporary terminal for passengers. The first phase is expected to be completed about 90 days after the launch of the project.
