Kuwait reported an Iranian attack on a power and water desalination plant Friday, while Bahrain and Qatar said they intercepted missiles after the United States bombed Iran for a sixth consecutive night.

Kuwait also said an Iranian drone attack on army facilities and camps wounded several military personnel.

The army's chief of staff "visited several wounded members of the Kuwaiti land forces, who were injured ... as part of the criminal Iranian aggression," the military said in a post on X.

Kuwait's Electricity Ministry said "one of the power and water desalination plants was the target of an attack ... resulting in a fire, damage and the impairment of several production units."

The Ministry urged residents "to ration their electricity consumption during this exceptional period."

Earlier, Kuwait said it was facing "drone and missile attacks" that it blamed on Iran.

Iranian state television reported that Tehran had sent drones to Kuwait targeting sites where U.S. forces are deployed and their logistical support centers in response to the U.S. strikes.

Elsewhere, Bahrain's military said it had "intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial attacks."

An AFP journalist in Manama, the capital, reported hearing several explosions overnight after warning sirens sounded.

Iranian state media said Tehran had targeted U.S. helicopters and aircraft at an air base in Bahrain.

In Qatar, the Defense Ministry said the military intercepted a missile attack. AFP journalists in the capital, Doha, heard several explosions.

A child was injured by falling debris from the missile interception, Qatar's Interior Ministry later said.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it had targeted U.S. radar systems and military aircraft in Qatar to "punish the aggressor" following the overnight U.S. strikes on Iran.
