Bank resolution: BDL takes advantage of government’s ambiguity
After an initial session was interrupted due to a lack of quorum, the Finance and Budget Committee is expected to resume its examination of the text next Tuesday.

Although the government maintains that it has finalized, in consultation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the final version of the draft law, parliamentary debates indicate that the amendments proposed by Banque to Liban (BDL) Governor Karim Souhaid, remain under consideration.
