BEIRUT — Israeli strikes in the past 24 hours have killed at least eight people and injured 26 others in the past 24 hours in the Gaza Strip, despite the "cease-fire" of October 2025, according to the latest report from Gaza's health ministry.
Two other people were also injured, including one seriously, in a drone strike that targeted a house Tuesday morning in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza City, according to al-Jazeera.
In total, at least 1,053 people have been killed and 3,406 wounded since the nominal “cease-fire” agreement signed between Hamas and Israel on Oct. 10, 2025, took effect.
The ministry said that so far only 786 bodies have been recovered since that date.
Since the start of the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip in October 2023, Israeli strikes have killed at least 73,066 Palestinians and injured 173,514 others, according to the health authorities in the besieged enclave.
