BEIRUT — The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on Monday afternoon at France’s request after the Israeli army seized the medieval Beaufort Fortress in Lebanon, diplomatic sources told AFP on Sunday.
The meeting will take place immediately after another emergency session requested by Romania over a drone crash into a building in Galati, scheduled for 3 p.m. (1900 GMT), the sources added.
