SOUTH LEBANON — The Israeli army issued a forced displacement evacuation threat for four villages in southern Lebanon Sour district, outside the area Israel has occupied and dubbed the "yellow line."

On his account on X, Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee threatened residents in Qana, Debaal, Qaaqaaiyet al-Jisr, and Srifa.

"For your safety, you must evacuate your homes and immediately move at least 1,000 meters away from the affected villages to open areas," he wrote.

In recent days, Israel has issued daily orders for the forced evacuation of villages in various areas of the South, which it continues to bombard with and without prior warning. Heavy fighting between Israeli troops and Hezbollah fighters is also ongoing along the border regions which Israel is occupying, rendering the theoretical cease-fire in place all but null and void in practice.
