Yater, a village in the Bint Jbeil district located 6 kilometers from the border, lies just north of the Israeli-declared “buffer zone.” Since the truce took effect on April 17, the village has been regularly bombarded by the Israeli army. On the evening of April 24, a man was killed there by a drone strike, while the Israeli army announced it had intercepted Hezbollah rocket launchers in the Yater and Kafra regions.
