The Israeli military said on Sunday that one of its soldiers was killed in southern Lebanon.
Idan Fooks, 19, died "during combat" in south Lebanon, while "an officer and three additional soldiers were severely injured, along with a soldier who was moderately injured and a soldier who was lightly injured," the military said.
Despite the ten-day truce currently in place, which was recently extended for a further three weeks, Israel has been striking Lebanon on a daily basis, demolishing homes, issuing forced evacuation threats, and raising the already staggering death toll to over 2,500 people.
