Interceptor missile falls on house in Ablah, central Bekaa

BEKAA — An interceptor missile fell Wednesday on the home of a civilian, Tony Abou Moussa, in the locality of Ablah in central Bekaa, causing material damage, according to our regional correspondent. No details regarding the origin or destination of the missile have been provided at this time.

Although Beirut has been spared since last Thursday, and as a first round of discussions opened Tuesday between Lebanon and Israel in Washington through their respective ambassadors in the U.S. capital, Israeli strikes in South Lebanon and the Bekaa have nonetheless continued. The Israeli army has attacked dozens of localities in the Bekaa in recent days.

At the end of March, the debris of an intercepted Iranian missile fell on Kesrouan, fueling many theories about the incident.
