BEIRUT — In its latest update on the war’s toll, Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported Monday that 1,497 people have been killed in Israeli attacks between March 2 and April 6, with 4,639 others injured. The total includes 130 children killed and 457 children wounded. In the past 24 hours alone, 36 people were killed and 209 injured. These numbers are expected to include victims of several deadly strikes Sunday, notably in Ain Saade (Mount Lebanon) and Jnah in southern Beirut.

In Ain Saade, a nighttime strike killed three civilians, including two women, and wounded three others, all women. In Jnah, an air strike targeted a three-story residential building, killing at least five — including a 15-year-old girl — and 52 injured.
