BEIRUT — Calls dropping, conversations cut out mid-sentence, voices lagging during online meetings and screens freezing. Since the war in Lebanon resumed on March 2, the quality of both home and mobile internet has noticeably deteriorated.Already lagging behind international standards, Lebanon’s mobile internet network, provided by operators Alfa and Touch, which still relies largely on 4G rather than 5G, has at times slipped back to 3G, according to many users.
