SOUTH LEBANON — The Israeli army said Sunday it killed "earlier" in the week, without giving a specific date, Walid Mohammad Dib, "a senior official in Hamas's financing system," responsible for "funding the organization's military activities in Lebanon."
According to Arabic-language army spokesman Avichay Adraee, Walid Dib was "responsible for transferring funds to various Hamas branches" in the West Bank, Lebanon and other countries, and was in charge of recruiting agents and coordinating attacks from Syria and Lebanon.
The army did not specify where Mohammad Dib was killed.
