A drone attack struck a residential neighborhood in central Baghdad on Saturday morning, a security official told AFP on condition of anonymity.

The attack targeted “the telecommunications building” of an Iraqi security service that works with U.S. military advisers involved in counter-jihadist operations, the official said. A second drone, which was filming the operation, crashed on the grounds of a sports club popular with Iraq’s elite and diplomats, according to the same source.
