Israel issued an evacuation order Thursday afternoon for a building in Bashoura, central Beirut, amongst a warning of "large-scale" imminent strikes across the capital, including on a building in Zoqaq al-Blat and on another in Amroussieh.

Israel proceeded to carry out three strikes on the building in question, covering the skies in and around Bashoura with thick grey smoke.

The Israeli army claimed that Hezbollah had used the building to store "millions of dollars."

Israel has been targeting Hezbollah military and economic infrastructure, such as branches of its financial institution, al-Qard al-Hassan, across the country, in an attempt to weaken the party.

Israel has also targeted numerous civilian sites, including the Ramada hotel in Raouche, the apartment in Aicha Bakkar, the Lebanese University, and Ramlet al-Baida.
