BEIRUT — Israeli strikes on Lebanon have killed at least 687 people since March 2, Information Minister Paul Morcos said on Thursday, as Israel threatened to expand its operations and ordered all residents who live south of the Zahrani River, 40 kilometers from the border, to evacuate.
In a statement following a Cabinet meeting, Marcos said that "the number of people killed by Israeli attacks reached 687, including 98 children and 52 women."
