Iran’s military capabilities questioned as drone and missile numbers decline

Iranian firepower is losing momentum. Since the start of the war launched by Israel and the United States on Feb. 28, Iran has responded by firing more than 500 ballistic missiles and 2,000 drones, according to a Pentagon-issued statement on March 5, but the pace now seems to be slowing. In the first six days of the conflict, at least six waves of missile attacks were launched daily – with a peak of eight between March 4 and 5 – before dropping to five by the following day.
