Dubai airport resumes operations ‘partially’

Dubai airport, the world's busiest for international traffic, announced Saturday the partial resumption of its operations after a brief suspension earlier in the morning.

"We have partially resumed our activities as of today, March 7, with some flights operating from Dubai International Airport [DXB] and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International Airport [DWC]," Dubai airport said in a statement on X. "We strongly urge you not to come to the airport unless your airline has contacted you to confirm your flight, as schedules may still change," the airport told its users, as a witness reported to AFP a loud explosion resulting from an interception Saturday morning over the airport.
