BEIRUT — Public Works and Transport Minister Fayez Rasamny told local channel MTV that “Beirut airport remains open and flights are on schedule.”
However, he said that the “road leading to the airport is closed due to ongoing evacuations” from Beirut’s southern suburbs, where the airport is located.
In a statement, Middle East Airlines (MEA) announced that, contrary to rumors, it is maintaining its regular flight schedule from Beirut as of March 5, 2026.
