Between Tuesday night and Wednesday, the Israeli army continued striking southern Lebanon, targeting Harouf, Kfar Tibnit, Arnoun, Yohmor (Nabatieh), Tiri, Beit Lif, Ramieh, Shaqra, Jmaijmeh (Bint Jbeil) and Khiam (Marjayoun). The strike on Shaqra killed one person and injured two others.

The Arabic-language spokesperson for the Israeli army issued an urgent warning to residents of 16 villages in southern Lebanon, including Markaba, Houla, Majdal Selm, Shaqra and Beni Hayan, telling them to "immediately" evacuate their homes and move at least 1,000 meters away to clear areas. In the message, the army said that "Hezbollah's activities" are forcing it to act "forcefully" against the Shiite group.
