The Israeli army is giving "the representatives of the terrorist Iranian regime [24 hours] to leave Lebanon," wrote Avichay Adraee, the Israel Defense Forces’ Arabic-language spokesperson, on his X account.
"The Israeli army will no longer tolerate the presence of these Iranian representatives in Lebanon," he said. "After this deadline, there will be no safe place in Lebanon for them, and the [Israeli] Defense Forces will target them wherever they are."
Hezbollah opened a front with Israel overnight Sunday into Monday, launching several rockets toward northern Israel to avenge the assassination of Supreme Guide of the Iranian Revolution Ali Khamenei on Saturday in an Israeli strike. Since then, Israel has launched strikes on several regions of Lebanon while Hezbollah continues launching rockets and drones toward Israel.
