The Israeli army said on X on Monday that it was carrying out "simultaneous" strikes on Lebanon and Iran. In a statement in Hebrew, the army said it had launched a "large wave of strikes against the Iranian terrorist regime and the Hezbollah terrorist organization."
Israeli strikes have been targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut since dawn.
