The Arabic-speaking spokesperson for the Israeli army issued an urgent warning Tuesday morning to residents of 50 villages in southern Lebanon, stating that "Hezbollah's activities are forcing the Israeli army to act against it with force, without any intention to harm civilians."
He called on residents of these fifty villages to immediately evacuate their homes.
On Monday evening, the Israeli army had already called on residents of about thirty communities, mainly located along the border, to leave the area.
