Saudi Arabia has condemned the Iranian attacks targeting its neighbors, according to a statement issued Saturday by the kingdom’s official news agency, following a wave of strikes across the Middle East after Israel and the United States launched attacks on Iran.
“The kingdom firmly condemns and denounces in the strongest terms Iran’s brutal aggression and the blatant violation of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan,” the statement said.
However, the statement did not mention any Iranian strikes targeting Saudi Arabia, although AFP journalists reported hearing several explosions earlier Saturday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
