BEIRUT — The Israeli army killed at least one Palestinian and wounded three others in two separate incidents in the occupied West Bank, which has been subjected to daily attacks by soldiers or settlers.
Mohammad Rajeh Nasrallah, 20, was shot dead Tuesday in the village of Dahrieh, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, after suffering a serious abdominal wound and succumbing to his injuries at the hospital, the Palestinian Health Ministry said, as quoted by the official Wafa agency.
The ministry also reported that another young man was wounded in the same incident. His life is not believed to be in danger, according to medical sources.
Meanwhile, two other Palestinians, Khader and his sister Sadile Chahada, were also shot by Israeli gunfire near their home in Tulkarem, in the north of the territory. According to local sources cited by Wafa, both, who were wounded in the legs, are children of a local leader of the nationalist Fateh movement.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that Israeli forces deployed at the scene initially prevented its teams from providing aid. The young woman, 19, was later evacuated to a hospital for treatment, while her brother was arrested by Israeli troops and taken to an unknown location.
In addition, near Ramallah in the central West Bank, a group of settlers stormed Palestinian farmland in the village of Tourmous and uprooted at least 200 olive trees, according to Wafa.
The Palestinian agency specified that in 2025, Israeli soldiers and settlers carried out a record 1,382 acts of destruction targeting agricultural lands, especially olive groves, citing a tally from the Commission for Resistance to the Wall and Settlements, based in Ramallah.
These incidents come amid a context of daily attacks by soldiers or settlers in the West Bank, where four Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli army since Jan. 1, 2026, according to the latest figures from the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
According to OCHA data, more than 1,100 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli soldiers or settlers since October 7, 2023, with an additional 5,100 wounded.
At the same time, 41 Israelis have been killed over the same period in the occupied West Bank (including East Jerusalem), including 22 soldiers, with another 17 killed inside Israel, according to official Israeli figures shared with AFP.
