Interior Minister Ahmad Hajjar arrived in Bahrain on Monday evening, upon invitation by his Bahraini counterpart, Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, who welcomed him at the airport alongside Lebanon's ambassador to Bahrain, Hadi Hashem, according to the state-run National News Agency (NNA).
Hajjar is set to meet with his counterpart on Tuesday "in order to develop bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of security and the exchange of expertise," according to the brief statement.
