BEIRUT — Finance Minister Yassine Jaber departed Sunday for Davos, Switzerland, to attend the 56th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), scheduled for Jan. 19–23, the ministry said in a statement.
The event will bring together representatives from more than 100 governments, leading international organizations, the world’s top 1,000 companies, civil society groups, academia and international media. This year’s forum is organized under the theme, “A Spirit of Dialogue.”
