The son of the former shah and a prominent Iranian opposition figure in exile in the United States, Reza Pahlavi, on Saturday called on protesters in Iran to "prepare to take" city centers on the 13th day of a major protest movement against the government.
In a message on X, he urged Iranians "to all take to the streets" on Saturday and Sunday in the evening, "in order to occupy public spaces," emphasizing that "the goal is no longer just to protest in the streets" but to take over city centers by "staying on the ground."
