The Lebanese Army’s efforts to have a monopoly on weapons are “a good start,” but they “are not enough,” according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who responded on Thursday to an army statement.The military announced the completion of the first phase of the weapons monopoly plan, which applies to the area south of the Litani River.The statement was followed by a Cabinet decision to authorize the continuation of operations north of the Litani, tasking the army with drafting a plan for the second phase of weapons removal.
