Between July and October 2025, Israeli authorities barred nine international organizations, including Britain’s Save the Children and four U.S.-based NGOs, from continuing their work in Gaza.The bans stem from a new registration procedure that imposes stringent requirements on NGOs seeking to operate in the occupied Palestinian territories. Grounds for disqualification include promoting anti-Israel boycotts, supporting armed struggle, Holocaust denial and denial of the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas-led attacks.
