Iran denies any involvement in Yemen war

Iran's foreign ministry on Monday denied the country had any involvement in the war in Yemen, after the Houthis seized more territory.

"Iran does not interfere in Yemeni affairs," ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei told reporters, saying the Houthis are "entirely independent actors who make their decisions based on their own interests."

Iran says Hormuz policy won’t be ‘dictated’ by ‘outside forces’

Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman says Oman and Iran “took a joint decision to reach a responsible” approach in managing the Strait of Hormuz.

The meeting planned for today with Gulf officials in Muscat was an “opportunity to demonstrate the significance of these decisions,” Esmaeil Baghaei said.

The meeting was cancelled because of “the events unfolding in Yemen,” he added. “Had this meeting taken place, it would have been a very suitable opportunity [to discuss the new policy]. I do not believe any responsible country would accept in any shape, way, or form to be dictated to or be subjected to pressure from any outside forces.”

Iran dismisses Trump's claims of activity at Pickaxe Mountain

Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson said that U.S. President Donald Trump's claim that the United States was monitoring activity at Pickaxe Mountain (Kolang Kouh) was baseless.

Trump had said last week that the U.S. could hit Pickaxe Mountain and urged Iran to be cautious.

Iran seizes properties of nearly 250 ‘traitors’

Iranian authorities have seized properties from 240 people accused of affiliations with Israel and other “hostile countries,” state broadcaster IRIB reports.

The individuals “carried out propaganda or practical actions against the country,” the judiciary said, resulting in “extensive damage” to Iran’s infrastructure.

“These properties belong to the Iranian nation and the judiciary will follow up so that these properties can be used to compensate the victims,” a Ministry of Justice spokesperson told IRIB.

Iran passed an enhanced espionage law last year allowing the death penalty and confiscation of all assets for aiding the U.S., Israel, or any other “hostile” state or group.

Offences range from “conferring legitimacy” to Israel to sharing images or information with foreign networks.

IRGC intercepts, destroys drone over Hormuz

Iran’s IRGC says it has intercepted and destroyed an advanced MQ-1 drone that was flying over the Strait of Hormuz.

In a statement reported by the semi-official Tasnim news agency, the IRGC said the interception occurred minutes ago under its new aerospace defense system.

Hormuz: Oman postpones Iran-Gulf meeting

Oman on Monday announced the postponement of a meeting between Iran and Gulf countries on the future of the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic maritime route at the center of the war between Washington and Tehran that has been blocked for months.

"It has been decided to postpone to a later date the regional meeting that was to be held Monday in Salalah, in order to create the conditions conducive to constructive dialogue," Oman’s official news agency ONA reported.

"We remain committed to promoting dialogue that contributes to stability and sustainable cooperation in our region," Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi said on X, adding that the meeting had been postponed "in order to promote consensus."

Tehran had announced the meeting, saying Gulf countries — without specifying which ones — and Iraq would participate. However, no country in the region had confirmed its attendance, while Bahrain said it would not send a representative.

U.S. President Donald Trump said Sunday that he "didn't give a damn" about the meeting. "That's their business," he said.

Houthis report around 50 Saudi airstrikes in Yemen

The pro-Iranian Houthis reported on Sunday 50 Saudi airstrikes on Yemen, particularly on their stronghold in the north of the country, just hours after an attack claimed by these pro-Iranian fighters against a military base in the neighboring kingdom. The Houthis, who announced a maritime blockade against Riyadh in July and targeted its oil tankers, launched a major attack on Tuesday against Saudi Arabia, an ally of the Yemeni government.

Saudi authorities reported dozens of injuries and the temporary shutdown of several oil facilities. The Houthi movement has also inflicted significant setbacks on Yemeni government forces in recent days, seizing the historic port of Mokha and the rest of Yemen's Red Sea coast after a lightning offensive.

This has strengthened its hold on the strategic Bab al-Mandeb Strait, a key passage for maritime traffic in the Red Sea. "The criminal Saudi enemy has carried out 58 airstrikes in the past 24 hours, targeting the provinces of Taiz, Lahj, al-Jawf, Hajjah, al-Bayda and Saada, using F-15 aircraft that took off from Khamis Mushait airbase," Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree stated on Telegram.

These provinces are mostly located in the north, like Saada, the stronghold of pro-Iranian fighters, and in the west of the country. The Houthi-affiliated Almasirah channel also reported "artillery fire" in Saada.

Claims that IRGC forces were trapped in Ali Taher tunnels denied by Fars News Agency

Fars News Agency reported that claims circulating on some social media channels that several Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) members were trapped in the Ali Taher tunnels are false.

According to the report, only 48 Hezbollah members were stationed in the two tunnels targeted by the Israeli army in Ali Taher. It said eight of the Lebanese fighters were killed.

Relative calm in southern Lebanon Monday, after several Israeli strikes Sunday evening

A relative calm prevails this morning in southern Lebanon, following numerous Israeli airstrikes on Sunday evening. According to our correspondent in the south, the Israeli air force carried out a strike on Mansouri (Sour) at 6:00 a.m. on Monday.

Sunday evening was eventful. Between 7 and 8 p.m., Israeli artillery struck the strategic hill of Ali Taher (Nabatieh). Strikes targeted Mayfadoun and Zawtar Sharqieh, in the same district.

Two strikes targeted Mansouri (Sour), while one strike targeted Wadi Zibqin (Sour). Two strikes were carried out in Qantara (Marjeyoun).

An explosion was reported in Kounine (Bint Jbeil), while a strike targeted the Arich area on the outskirts of Haris (Bint Jbeil).

After 9 p.m., Israeli artillery again struck Ali Taher, before targeting Wadi Zibqine (Sour) and Srebbine (Bint Jbeil). An explosion was also reported in Qantara (Marjayoun).

After 11 p.m., the Israeli army launched flares at Houla and Markaba (Marjayoun). Additionally, Israeli artillery struck Wadi Slouki from the Wadi Hojeir side before firing medium automatic weapons at Wadi Slouki itself. Gunfire was also reported in Beit Yahoun (Bint Jbeil).

At 1:30 am, Israeli artillery launched five missiles at Wadi Hojeir and the outskirts of Touline (Marjayoun).
