Customs officials at Rafik Hariri International Airport (RHIA) seized 90 disassembled and concealed handguns found in the luggage of a passenger who arrived from France, the Lebanese Finance Ministry announced Thursday in a statement.
The traveler was arrested, and an investigation has been launched at the direction of the relevant public prosecutor's office. Finance Minister Yassin Jaber is following the case, along with Customs Director General Raymond Khoury and all other competent authorities.
