The body of a man was found early Sunday afternoon at a tourist complex in Jounieh, the state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported. The victim, aged 48, was originally from Sheikh Mohammad in Akkar, northern Lebanon.
The body showed signs of stab wounds. After the discovery, units from the Internal Security Forces (ISF) and forensic police were dispatched to the scene. An investigation has been launched. Civil Defense transported the body to Notre-Dame du Liban Hospital for an autopsy.
For now, no information has been released about a possible suspect. Contacted for comment, the ISF was unavailable.
