The Israeli military operation in Beit Jinn is likely to further complicate the regional scene, particularly in Syria and Lebanon. A few days ago, Israeli officials claimed that Islamist groups, as well as others affiliated with the Houthis, were preparing to launch military operations against Israel from southern Syria.The aim was clear: to point the finger at Islamist groups linked to Damascus and others seen as close to Iran.
