Designed for John Paul II, saved from Notre-Dame: Castelbajac, the catho-rock designer

Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, rebellious legend of fashion, has dressed both contemporary art geniuses and the heads of the Vatican and Notre-Dame. As a retrospective is dedicated to him in France, he redraws for L’Orient-Le Jour the sketch of his underground life.

Night settles slowly over a literally burning Paris.
