By ratifying the agreement to delimit its maritime boundaries with Cyprus, Lebanon has reaffirmed its intention to keep pace with ongoing changes in the region.This ratification comes more than 20 years after negotiations between the two countries began, at a time when the geopolitical landscape of the Eastern Mediterranean has completely changed.
