It was 8:30 p.m. when I arrived, buzzing with anticipation and glitter from the crowd already clinging to my sleeves. The air around the outdoor venue was thick with excitement: food trucks lined the entrance, security filtered people in and smiles passed like a current through the sea of fans gathering to see Adonis — back in Lebanon, after what felt like a lifetime away.The concert was set to start at 9:00 p.m., but the band didn’t take the stage until nearly an hour later at 9:50 p.m. No one minded.
