‘We do not yet know what enrichment capacity Iran retains post-attack’

After the U.S. strikes on Sunday, June 22, targeting Iran’s three nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, Iran was left with no good option for retaliation without jeopardizing the survival of its regime. The Islamic Republic thus chose to launch missiles at an American base in Qatar, coordinating its response with Doha. While U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a cease-fire, Tehran could still, according to several observers, opt to secretly develop the nuclear weapon that Israel had accused it of being close to acquiring before launching its war against Iran on June 13.
