Several explosions were heard Monday morning in Jerusalem by AFP journalists, after alert sirens sounded in Israel as Iranian missiles approached.
Israeli rescue services have not immediately reported any casualties. The Israeli army indicated that missiles had been launched toward the country and asked the population to take shelter.
