At least nine members of the Revolutionary Guards, the ideological army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, were killed on Sunday in Israeli attacks against central Iran, local media reported.
"Following the aggression by the barbaric Zionist regime and its mercenaries against two military centers in the city of Yazd, seven members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and two conscripts were martyred," according to the Tasnim news agency, citing a statement from the Guards. Other people were injured in the attack, it added. The Fars news agency had earlier indicated that Israeli strikes targeted two military sites in Yazd.
