A "massive" explosion was heard Sunday in the Bushehr province in southern Iran, which houses a nuclear power plant, the Shargh daily indicated, on the tenth day of the war between Iran and Israel. The media added that two locations around the city of Bushehr had been "attacked by the Zionist regime." It reported another explosion in the Yazd province in the center of the country.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had warned on Friday that a direct attack on the Bushehr nuclear power plant would have "serious" consequences, potentially releasing large amounts of radiation into the environment.
