Oman, which plays the role of mediator between the United States and Iran in nuclear discussions, condemned on Sunday the American strikes against nuclear facilities in Iran, calling for de-escalation.
The sultanate condemns "this illegal aggression" and calls for "immediate de-escalation," said a spokesperson for the Omani Foreign Affairs Ministry, quoted by the official news agency, adding that "the action taken by the United States threatens to widen the scope of the war and constitutes a serious violation of international law."
