The Iranian Foreign Affairs Ministry stated on Sunday that the American strikes on Iranian nuclear sites demonstrated that the U.S. would not back down from "any crime" to support Israel in its war against Iran.

"It is now entirely clear to everyone that the regime that enjoys a permanent member status in the Security Council respects no principles or morals and will not back down from any illegality or crime to serve the goals of a genocidal occupying regime," the Ministry said in a press release, referring to the U.S. and then to Israel.
