The Israeli army announced Wednesday evening that it had detected missile fire from Iran towards Israel, urging the population to seek shelter in the center of the country.
"The defense systems are activated to intercept the threat," the army added in a statement. The Home Front Command (Passive Defense) indicates that the alert concerned the center of the country from south of Tel-Aviv to Hadera, on the Mediterranean coast.
