BEIRUT — Health Ministry in Gaza reported in its daily update that at least 61 bodies of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks were transported to hospitals in the enclave over the past 24 hours.
Approximately 397 injuries were also recorded during the same period.
Earlier, the ministry stated that Israeli tank and drone fire had killed at least 50 Palestinians near an aid distribution center in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. These killings are the latest in a series of almost daily Israeli attacks during these aid distributions organized by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, supported by Israel and the United States.
This brings the human toll of the Israeli offensive against the Gaza Strip to at least 55,493 Palestinians killed and 129,320 injured. Among these victims, 5,194 were killed and 17,279 were injured since Israel broke the ceasefire agreement with Hamas on March 18.
