The European Union judged Monday that Russia could in no case play a mediator role in the conflict between Israel and Iran, as suggested by U.S. President Donald Trump.
"Russia cannot be an objective mediator," said a spokesperson for the European Commission, Anouar El Anouni. "Russia has no credibility ... Russia continuously violates international law," he added.
